Social Care Worker
Location: Residential & Community-Based Services (Nationwide)

We are partnering with a range of residential care and community support services who require Social Care Workers to join their teams. These roles focus on supporting adults and young people to develop life skills, promote independence, and enhance wellbeing in line with individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide person-centred support in day-to-day living, personal development, education, and recreation
• Maintain a safe, positive environment that promotes dignity, choice, inclusion, and independence
• Implement individualised support plans and contribute to multidisciplinary review meetings
• Support emotional, behavioural and social development in a trauma-informed and strengths-based manner
• Maintain clear, accurate and timely records in line with policy and regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, family networks and external professionals
Requirements
• Degree-level qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Psychology, Youth Work, Disability Studies, or closely aligned discipline
• Understanding of rights-based, person-centred practice
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and respond effectively to challenging situations
Desirable
• Experience supporting individuals in residential or community settings
• Familiarity with positive behaviour support approaches
• Full driving licence
