General Medicine Registrar
Location: Roles available across multiple regions in Ireland
We are assisting with the recruitment of General Medicine Registrars for hospital-based roles across Ireland. These positions provide exposure to a broad range of acute and chronic medical presentations, multidisciplinary team environments, and opportunities for continued professional development within structured medical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment and management of general medical inpatients
Participation in acute medical take and on-call rotas
Coordination of patient care with nursing, allied health and consultant teams
Active contribution to ward rounds, MDT meetings and clinical handovers
Support and guidance for more junior medical staff when required
Requirements
Irish Medical Council registration (General or Specialist Division)
A minimum of 3 years postgraduate clinical experience
Prior experience in General Medicine, Acute Medicine or relevant subspecialties
Competence in managing acutely unwell patients in a supervised hospital setting
Salary
Salary placement is determined according to verified previous training and hospital experience. Additional allowances and on-call enhancements apply where rostered.
