Consultant Radiologist (General Diagnostic)
Locations: Opportunities across multiple regions in Ireland
We are supporting the appointment of Consultant Radiologists to General Diagnostic imaging services across Ireland. These roles contribute to established multidisciplinary clinical pathways and provide a balanced caseload within well-supported hospital radiology departments.
Scope of Practice
• General diagnostic reporting (plain film, ultrasound and CT depending on service configuration)
• MDT participation with referring medical and surgical teams
• Input into imaging protocols and service quality assurance
• Contribution to department organisation, workflow and training activities
• Supervision of registrars and junior radiology trainees
• Participation in on-call rota commitments where required
Requirements
• Specialist Registration (or eligibility for Specialist Registration) with the Irish Medical Council in Radiology
• Broad experience in General Diagnostic Radiology practice
• Strong communication and collaborative working style within multidisciplinary settings
• Commitment to quality, safety and ongoing professional development
Salary
